Transportation
Expanding access to reliable transportation is a key priority of my platform. I support developing a county-wide transit system that connects seamlessly with Hot Springs, ensuring that all residents—especially those without access to a personal vehicle—can reach medical appointments, essential services, and everyday destinations. At the same time, I am committed to prioritizing repairs on our most neglected and deteriorating roads, improving safety and connectivity for every community in our county.
Animal control & public safety
Improving animal welfare and public safety is an important priority for our community. I support strengthening our county’s animal control services by adding needed staff and expanding access to low-cost spay and neuter programs. By working with local nonprofits, veterinarians, and volunteers, we can implement humane solutions like trap-neuter-return to reduce stray populations. I will also advocate for regular low-cost rabies clinics and collaborative partnerships that bring stakeholders together to create sustainable, community-driven solutions.
Transparency
I believe county government works best when it is transparent, accountable, and responsive to the people it serves. That’s why I support implementing participatory budgeting, giving residents a direct voice in how a portion of county funds are spent. I am also committed to responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars by requiring competitive bidding on county contracts and ensuring public resources are used efficiently and fairly. These steps will help build trust and ensure decisions reflect the priorities of our community.
